The purpose of this article

[edit]

There's already a Moyamensing article, which is the neighborhood just west of the plaza, so lets create a Stella Maris article for the neighborhood to the east of it, and make this article about the plaza itself. capisce? Anybody w/ me? Passdoubt | Talk 10:22, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey I love south philly history and I had collected some facts and research hoping to start a friends group. But instead I had some information to share...and this was the place for it.John Jr. 20:13, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey John, I'd be interested in being apart of your group and helping you expand the article. I actually enhanced the Marconi Plaza page a few weeks back by adding the maps, sources, and a few links. Frank 16:21, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Philadelphia assessment

[edit]

I have rated the article Start class. The article presents the history well, but misses some general aspects. Cultural topics, and more information about the neighborhood and not just the park need to be included. Other information that can be included is information on the economics of the neighborhood (is it a low, middle or high class neighborhood?), the types of homes found in the area, and images of neighborhood. You should also include citations and properly cite your sources.

Another very important note, the images in the article (Image:Pennmarconi.jpg and MarconiPlazaPhiladelphia2.jpg) are labeled PD-self, however both those images explicitly say they came from the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Planning Commission. The copyright tags must be changed to an accurate tag. Medvedenko 03:03, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
