We have here are writer who has been claimed for Wales. I've no wish to upset Welsh sensibilities, but the information in the one substantive source I can find for her presents an English writer who moved as a child to the borders of England with Wales, adopted a Welsh pen name, married a Welsh husband, but lived the rest of her shortish life in England. Please could Wikipedians who find any further evidence of Margiad Evans's Welshness be sure to assess it and reference it meticulously. Bmcln1 (talk) 09:23, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Now I see the article's been doubly banished to the stubbery. Dear Editors and Bots, please believe me when I say that although there were many (and still are some) readers who have enjoyed her work enormously, she is not in the forefront of English literature. Great stuff to accompany a train ride to Aberystwyth, shall we say? In my opinion, this page says almost all that need be said about Margiad, in a text whose length is in proportion to her importance. Bmcln1 (talk) 16:49, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
