Several things. We need more citations, and preferably some inline ones. Also there are some problems with the sentence grammar. Does anyone see a need to keep "All the prisoners were condemned to silence and their guards informed that they tend to be habitual liars about Madame de Montespan." Also, " It is noted, that in January 1687, the women at Belle-Île-en-Mer were granted the use of braziers in midwinter." doesn't seem so useful. Thoughts? Hi. Its excellent that you take the time to edit this article: I wrote it, but English is not my native language, so it is bound to be spelling and grammar errors. Yes, the information "All the prisoners were condemned to silence and their guards informed that they tend to be habitual liars about Madame de Montespan" is important to keep. It was a part of their verdict and described the circumstances around and the importance given to the case: they were banned from communicating, which was a part of their sentence and treatment, and the reason to this was because there were fears of them speaking of the case, as this would damage the reputation of important people, which was the reason to why their trials were discontinued and they were imprisoned without having formally been sentenced. So yes, that is relevant to keep. Well, the "It is noted, that in January 1687, the women at Belle-Île-en-Mer were granted the use of braziers in midwinter" is useful in the sense that these prisoners were actually not mentioned much afterward: they were imprisoned until their death, and the date of their deaths are often unknown: this note from 1687 is, as far as I remember from the reference, the last documentation about the women imprisoned at Belle-Île-en-Mer.--Aciram (talk) 15:42, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
