"Questions have been raised about the funding Berrios received when running uncontested in 2002"

This is leading and too vague. Who is raising what questions? Are they notable? Or is this just to allow a negative peice by Fox into the article. I've removed it until we find out more and write it more neutrally.--Scott Mac 16:42, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's not FOX News that's doing the piece. It's the local FOX Chicago affiliate, and we can not presume that they are investigating Berrios because they are conservative. The investigation is trying to figure out if tax attorneys are donating to Mrs. Berrios to curry favour with her father, who is a local official that can grant property tax breaks to their clients. We don't report every negative newstory in a BLP. Is there evidence this story has become a notable fact about her?--Scott Mac 18:48, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The issues of impropriety seems notable enough for the New York Times to report on also.[1] Lots of articles against her father accusing him of impropriety with regards to tax attorneys. [2] Morbidthoughts (talk) 19:04, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This is not an article about her father, and people "investigating" her isn't a story, unless something is found.--Scott Mac 19:13, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, two reliable sources have established that her campaign contributors have been tax attorneys who practice in front of her father's review board. Whether that's improper or not, I don't know but it should be mentioned if her only national coverage (the new york times) mentions it. Let the reader figure out for himself whether it's improper.
