Art Journal source[edit]

A lot of footnotes in this article reference The Art Journal volume 37, but I can't seem to verify any of it. For example, the very first reference cites page 385, except that there are only 376 pages here. All of the pages cited seem to be about other topics, and a search for "Jewsbury" gets no results. Similarly, a search for "Fletcher" only gets a review of The Autobiography of Mrs. Fletcher, which doesn't even specify the full name of the titular subject. My assumption is that the link goes to the wrong volume of the journal. Pinging Bmcln1 and Rosiestep, who seem to have done a lot of work here. (PS: I'm looking into listing this article on Wikipedia:Selected anniversaries/October 25 for her birthday, so if we could get this cleared up soon, that would be very helpful.) howcheng {chat} 22:02, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My first suspicion would be that the volume number is wrong. Bmcln1 (talk) 22:06, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A miniature of her that was on the BBC yesterday
Hello Victuallers, hope you are well. Yes, it's by a Scottish portrait miniaturist John Cochran and dated 1826. It was bought from a junk shop in Nottingham for £140 and was valued by Rupert Maas at between £6,000 and £8,000. I think the image could usefully be added to the article.
