Why?

[edit]

WQUlrich, Before I revert your edits, may I ask why you would update this article with unsourced material (from German Wikipedia?), replacing sourced material, and then tag it as having no footnotes? I fail to understand your thinking. Best, WomenArtistUpdates (talk) 16:59, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WomenArtistUpdates Why?? Because I thought it was still an improvement, why else? I guess I can be lazy sometimes, so allow me to add some references before you respond so harshly. WQUlrich (talk) 19:45, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Is that satisfactory? For the life of me, I don't know why anybody would be upset at seeing MORE information. WQUlrich (talk) 20:06, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously though, I can understand why you might be puzzled. I'm not sure myself...I think I'm simply working too fast...too mechanically WQUlrich (talk) 20:42, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
WomenArtistUpdates Dull-witted me! I should have guessed that you were the one who created the original article. I've added two more of your references. Sorry. WQUlrich (talk) 22:53, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
WQUlrich Thank you for taking the time to respond and especially adding the inline sources. I took out the statement about exhibiting at the World’s Columbian Exposition. That was Bertha not Maria. I apologize for sounding harsh. I'll move over to your talk page to make my case against European Wikipedias as a source. Best, WomenArtistUpdates (talk) 21:10, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
