Fate of her two companions?[edit]

Marienetta's Wikipedia entry reads:

"At 3.40am on November 22, 1980, Marienetta Jirkowsky and two friends attempted to cross the border between East and West Berlin."

Does anyone know if her two companions made it safely to the West? No mention is made of whether or not they made it safely across the border or were captured.

Anyone? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.18.168.230 (talk) 09:01, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article has significantly been updated since this question was posed. But yes, Falko Vogt and Peter Wiesner made it. This article cites it.
