GA Review

[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Marilena from P7/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Hello. I'll be doing the Good Article review for this article. Here are some suggestions for improvement:

  • The quotes all need to be sourced.
Partially fixed. diego_pmc (talk)
Now totally fixed. (Impy4ever (talk) 09:58, 18 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
  • The image in the infobox is marked as low resolution, but it is not.
Fixed. diego_pmc (talk)
  • can't --> cannot - spell out all contractions
Fixed. diego_pmc (talk)
  • Can nothing else be said about the casting of the other minor roles?
Don't think so. Nothing that would be related to the movie in any case. diego_pmc (talk)
  • Where did the new funds come from?
We didn't manage to solve this one – press releases don't mention it. (Impy4ever (talk) 10:12, 18 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
  • "However, the production benefited from its picturesque view" - source?
Fixed. (Impy4ever (talk) 10:12, 18 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
  • Is the first paragraph under public reception supposed to be italicized? It isn't a quote.
Fixed. diego_pmc (talk)

That's it. The article will be on hold for a week for improvements. Nikki311 00:57, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing...per WP:EL, the youtube trailer link needs to be removed from the external links. Also, the interview that is mentioned in the references, should also be removed, and the other interview would be more appropriate in a further reading section. Nikki311 21:26, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually this wasn't a big fix, so I just went ahead and did it myself. Great work. I'll pass the article. Nikki311 21:29, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion pertaining to non-free image(s) used in article

[edit]

A cleanup page has been created for WP:FILMS' spotlight articles. One element that is being checked in ensuring the quality of the articles is the non-free images. Currently, one or more non-free images being used in this article are under discussion to determine if they should be removed from the article for not complying with non-free and fair use requirements. Please comment at the corresponding section within the image cleanup listing. Before contributing the discussion, please first read WP:FILMNFI concerning non-free images. Ideally the discussions pertaining to the spotlight articles will be concluded by the end of June, so please comment soon to ensure there is clear consensus. --Happy editing!
