Article Subject[edit]

I am not convinced that having an article on a WG administrative division is quite right, although this division is longstanding at least. The article appears to be particularly about the enforcement activities and the fleet. This may be a valid spin-out of Welsh Government, particularly as it replaces earlier agencies, but the common name here might be something like "Welsh Fisheries Enforcement" or just "Marine and Fisheries (Wales)". Theoretically the division could be reorganised tomorrow, but the enforcement activity would remain. Also worth noting that licensing is a matter for Natural Resources Wales, and yet is related to this subject. Any thoughts on the best name? Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 08:41, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
