I am PerryPerryD, I will be reviewing this article. Usually, I try to maintain the article order, but 1. This will be my 5th GA Review, and 2, its Paper Jam. With that, I will now begin.

Rather quickly I noticed an issue with the Plot section. Citation requested if possible — Preceding unsigned comment added by PerryPerryD (talkcontribs) 17:39, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ok i really gotta start signing my posts PerryPerryD Talk To Me 19:30, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MOS[edit]

Broad Audience[edit]

As for "Understandable to a broad audience" unfortunately I am not able to determine this one. I have played paper mario and Mario and luigi paper jam. Therefor I request the assistance of other editors to determine this specific criteria.

I recieved conformation from Wikipedia Administrator User:TheresNoTime So Pass. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PerryPerryD (talkcontribs) 19:43, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@TheresNoTimeThank you for your assistance. PerryPerryD Talk To Me 19:46, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

The lead is well written and well organized. it goes into the basics of the article and yet isnt too long. Pass.

Layout[edit]

According to the Manual of Style, This article is laid out properly. Including seperation between "Notes" and "References". Pass.

Words[edit]

Looking through this article, I cannot identify any words that need to be replaced. (At least, Not enough to fail the GA) Pass.

Fiction[edit]

The plot section of this article deals almost entirely with fiction. However, all aspects of fiction show a clear line between reality and fantasy. Pass.

Lists[edit]

This article does not contain any lists. Automatic Pass.

Citations[edit]

No citations found in the Plot Section. Other than that however, everything is cited properly and no claims are made without citation, with all sources being accurate and neutral. Unable to pass until Plot is fixed PerryPerryD Talk To Me 19:57, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not the nominator but per MOS:PLOTSOURCE, the plot does not need citations because the work itself is assumed to be the source. Bluecrystal004 (talk) 21:31, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting, I was not aware of this. Pass PerryPerryD Talk To Me 23:30, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Broadness[edit]

This article itself is rather broad in its coverage without going into too much detail. The paper mario section of this article is short and is only used to describe the construction of the game. Pass.

Neutrality[edit]

This article does not show any signs of showing praise or criticism of this game. All points made are neutral, with the automatic exception of "reception" which is quoted upon the reviewers stated. Pass.

Stable[edit]

According to the built in Wikipedia history, This article has not had any reverted edits since 2021. Pass.

Copyright[edit]

According to the image data, 2 of the images are low resolution and constitute fair use. I am concerned about the third image however. Is the Paper Mario logo really considered "Public Domain"?PerryPerryD Talk To Me 20:05, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Panini!This is the final issue so i am notifying you directly. PerryPerryD Talk To Me 23:32, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I did some research and found that the logo is indeed public domain. Pass. Congratulations. PerryPerryD Talk To Me 14:29, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Final Notes[edit]

I have found 1 confirmed issue and 1 potential issue with this article. I will be placing this article on a 1 week hold to get these issues resolved. Those are my only concerns however and i cannot see any other reason to not pass this article. 2/2 issues resolved.

PerryPerryD, thank you so much for the review! I apologize I wasn't there to immediately respond to your comments; I went on a two-day "unplugged" vacation, and these four notifications sitting at the top of my screen are giving me an indication that I should've acknowledged I did so... Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to simultaneously update my user pages with this new GA, respond at WT:GTF, finish a new draft I'm writing, and renominate my Paper Mario GTF. Again, thank you! Panini! 🥪 02:24, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
