Nationality
[edit]I presume this is a bomb produced and deployed by the USA but this is note stated. The first section on dates needs information on nationality. 80.47.22.206 (talk) 17:57, 13 March 2013 (UTC))
Bullets and targets
[edit]I thought that this "male-female" report of the "gun-type" weapon had been given up long ago: "by firing a fissile projectile or "bullet" into a hollow opening in a larger fissile "target"". Other wiki pages confirm this - Little Boy was made so that a "female-male" set of rings was fired onto a central target. Theeurocrat (talk) 19:16, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, as a matter of fact the realization of it (as a unclassified "inspiration" based on thoughts about the design that he was familiar with) is attributed to John Coster-Mullen. See http://www.amazon.com/Atom-Bombs-Secret-Inside-Little/dp/B0006S2AJ0 His revelation dates back to 2008, "long ago" in a way. SkoreKeep (talk) 19:37, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
