Split?

[edit]

I have never seen such a double entry. This really needs to be split. (Emperor 03:25, 10 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]

OK so what to do? Do we move the original Mark Farmer entry [1] to Mark Farmer (comics) and leave this as a disambiguation page? Or do we snip out the other Mark Farmer and provide a disambiguation link to him? Is the other guy notable enough to have his own entry anyway? I Googled for "Mark Farmer" and found a number with a lot of references to the comic MF but the seocnd MF on this page only seems to tur up on his own site. Perhaps we should err on the side of caution and put the extra material in a new entry and let editors who know the field decide its fate (if it is deleted we need to keep an eye on this entry in case this odd doubling up happens again).
My vote is for keeping the comics Mark Farmer here and move the second one to his own page - making a disambiguation page at this stage seems excessive especially if the other one might get deleted.
Thoughts? (Emperor 03:42, 10 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]
Yep, keep the commic guy here, just put something like "For the motviation speaker and author, see Mark Farmer (author)." at the top, and move the author info to that new article.--Commander Keane 17:04, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Great thanks - thats all fixed up now. Someone else can decide if the other Mark Farmer is notable enough ;) (Emperor 17:40, 17 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]
