started surfing in kurnell? apart from an extremley inconsistant kurnell point there isnt any beginers breaks in kurnell, its far more likley that he learnt to surf in cronulla which is only about 8kms away. he might have started there but it wasnt off silver beach which is part of botany bay. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.194.254.39 (talk) 02:36, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Birth

Iterestingly the article says that Occy was born at June 2, 1966; but the info box says June 16, 1966. What's right? (Despite the fact that the 16. is also stated in the so called "Occumentary" DVD). -- ReneRomann (talk) 20:41, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

I think there is a lot of content in the 'Life and career' section that is not of encyclopedia standard. Copyvio?

Looks like several of the passages - they stand out as not normal Wikipedia-sounding "voice" - have been copied without attribution from here http://www.hsssurf.com/shof/?p=62 (published in July 2004). Anyone care to check and strip it out from here? Witty lama 04:27, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
