Hi Rayman60 I have a number of edits which will bring this page up to 2017. Can I please ask the reason you're blocking them and what I can do to make the edits acceptable? tomstevens36 (talk) 12:42, 15 February 2016 In answer to your question about adding the content, it was poorly formatted, unreferenced in many places, promotional, perhaps excessive and breached numerous guidelines. Plus the nature of your behaviour suggests you have an ulterior reason for your activity, one to promote the subject. This flouts one of the most fundamental, core principles which have been raised in the past to various people in various guises trying to use this page to promote the subject. The first step would be to familiarise yourself with the guidelines which would advise on how to progress (most significantly, not to interfere with an article where there is a connection unless there's an issue such as a false and damaging claim). Thank you for the warning of the proposed speedy deletion. I would be grateful to know what extra information should be added to avoid deletion. The subject of the article is a leading architectural lighting designer and is better known than many lighting designers currently in Wikepedia. (Responsible for the re-lighting of Portsmouth and Liverpool also Southwark Cathedral, St Paul's Cathedral in red light for charity, about 4 other cathedrals, 30 churches and much work for Royal families all over the world). He has articles about his work in the lighting, architectural and general press every month. For more information see www.sva.co.uk

I assumed it would be sensible to keep the article short. Should the article be lengthened to give more evidence of notability, more awards? Or should more links be added?

I look forward to your comments and assistance. Best wishes. Frederickqqq (talk) 23:08, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Responding on your talk page, but I have removed the speedy request, since I think the subject may be notable, but that you are unaware how to assert such notability - Fritzpoll (talk) 23:46, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fritzpoll. Thank you for your constructive comments. I have added some references. There are many more that could be added for example references in books - would these help? Best wishes. Frederickqqq (talk) 22:59, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
