Such a shame Billa Barra Lane has been used as a dumping area, we are supposed to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty, if only others would take care of the area, so sad that a few uncaring people spoil it for others. What can we do to bring Billa Barra back up to scratch? Ursula94

Pubs and boundaries[edit]

I've found sources that are unlikely to be inaccurate about this, hopefully this should end the dispute. Although the Coach and Horses is in Field Head, it is in the parish of Markfield; this can be verified on the planning section of the Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council website. The Newtown Linford Village Design Statement 2008 (page 35) mentions the Field Head Hotel as in Newtown Linford; this is also mentioned on the listed buildings section of Charnwood Borough Council's website. However, as it is closer to Markfield maybe it should still be mentioned in the article. The boundaries can be found on magic.gov.uk. snigbrook (talk) 01:43, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion of stub.[edit]

Whilst this is larger than a stub, it lacks proper references. I would like to expand the article, possibly with help from the local history group, including both a larger history section and a new geology section. Help welcome! JRPG (talk) 19:15, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Commuter village[edit]
