Notable people lists and Notable alumni lists[edit]

I do not see the notability for the Redlinked entry, Thomas Lavoy. None of the references shown are what I would call reliable sources. The contest may be something, but I don't even find much on it. So we have a guy whose publisher says is great who has won a minor contest. Can we find some references that show the world at large has made note of this guy? I agree. My only edit earlier was strictly for WP:EL reasons (removing bare EL in body of article); but looking at the refs, it does appears that notability is questionable at best. Two of the refs are trivial mention, and the third is a bio by his publisher. Per WP:WPSCH/AG#Alumni inclusion criteria, what's needed is third-party coverage to demonstrate he would meet WP:BIO guidelines. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 17:51, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
