Labor History[edit]

This place is one of the most tense environments I have ever seen. The black-white divide in management relations is incredible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.127.234.101 (talk) 00:39, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

dates incorrect[edit]

The old hotel was in fact demolished in stages, not all in 1980 as described in the article. The reference cited for this date is the National Register of Historic Places nomination form for the tower section, which does not provide a specific date for the demolition of the main building; it just mentions the demolition as "recent" (the doc is dated 1983). Parts of the hotel were down in May 1979, when I last visited. Does anyone have a clear reference for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.73.78 (talk) 15:36, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
