Fair use rationale for Image:Smallmalogo.jpg[edit]

Image:Smallmalogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Really, Marshall Aerospace is a part of the Marshall Group Founded in 1909, the Marshall Group now has an annual turnover in excess of £1 billion and nearly 4,500 employees. Headquartered on an 800 acre site in Cambridge, UK, the Group operates worldwide in the fields of aerospace, military land systems and fleet management; together with a network of 67 franchised automotive dealerships in the UK. If I knew how to do it I'd suggest this page needs a change of title, and a paragraph on each of the business sectors. The 'Services' section of the page is no longer accurate as the range of services offered was redefined in 2014. Now Marshall ADG's services fall into 4 areas:

- Engineering solutions, which encompasses the design, manufacture, testing and certification of bespoke solutions for the civil and military aerospace and defence markets. - Support solutions such as maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft. The company has particular expertise with the C-130 Hercules transport aircraft - Aviation services, which tests and certifies engineering solutions either on the ground or via flight test - People services, which provides recruitment, project management and line maintenance personnel to a variety of businesses globally.

The company website has a wide range of information about the services Marshall ADG provides.

Hi Dave at Marshall ADG,
Rather than removing the information that's already there, I just rearranged it into overview and history sections. The article would benefit from a re-write for more of an encyclopedic tone, using of independent sources as references. Hopefully someone sees the article tags and tackles it, because it sounds like it could be an interest article. I digress...
For now, does this approach work until someone wants to write the content and provide independent sources?--CaroleHenson (talk) 10:01, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have made some changes to Marshall Aerospace, Marshall of Cambridge, and Slingsby Aviation. In the interests of transparency, I have a connection to the Marshall family of companies - but am making these changes of my own personal volition. MardiGrasCantab (talk) 11:48, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
