Marton is nowhere near the North York Moors

[edit]

I think youll find that it is. I live in Acklam which is a mere 10 mins drive at max from the North York Moors and Id say that was near!! I fail to see the relevance of such a statement anyway especially as an opening to the sentence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.2.214.250 (talk) 17:12, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wards covered in this article

[edit]

Should this article cover Beechwood & Longlands and Ladgate as well as Marton East Ward (until 2015 the Marton Ward) and Marton West. For example, B&L has the James Cook hospital, a former farm called Marton Low Farm, Grove Hill/Marton Grove, Marton Road, Marton West Beck and was in the former Marton Parish.

Most articles are stubs in B&L and Ladgate (Ladgate: Easterside has content but no photos, Tollesby has photos but no content) while the Marton article is sizeable and can be a base for this content until other articles are expanded. Wards change often so having wards mostly in the former parish area in this article can keep track of these changes better since more people look for this article.

Also see Acklam’s talk page for a similar discussion I am going to start. Chocolateediter (talk) 17:55, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
