NZOC has her as Mary, and Sports Reference as Jessie. In my experience, Sports Reference is more reliable than the New Zealand Olympic Committee (which is somewhat surprising). However, as Mary is her middle name, is this one an exception? Does anyone know for sure? Schwede66 20:08, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You are right that the NZOC site is not always reliable. However, Mary appears to be her commonly used name in contemporary newspapers: see here and here from Australian newspapers in the 1950s and 1960s, and here and here from the New Zealand Card Index. There's nothing in the card index for Jess/Jessie/Jessica Donaghy/Hayward that is relevant. Paora (talk) 01:16, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
