Concorde[edit]

I remember Mary Goldring in a television or radio interview back in the 1980's/90's complaining about Concorde, saying that it was narrow and uncomfortable inside the passenger cabin, and that it should have been built with a 'wide body'. I burst out laughing when I heard it, as she had obviously never bothered to find out about fineness ratios. Concorde would have had to have been about 400/500 ft long if it had been built according to her ideas. Such is the aeronautical knowledge of such 'experts'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.112.71.140 (talk) 09:23, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
