Name spelling[edit]

The Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame gives her name as Mary Kawena Pukuʻi (with a ʻokina in her last name). Should we move this article to Mary Kawena Pukuʻi (with a redirect from Mary Kawena Pukui)? Peter Chastain ^{[habla, por favor]} 10:00, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source of this unlikely name? It was added in 2007 with no reference and there is still no reference; Google Books has zero hits for it, and the few regular Google hits all appear to be taken from this article. To my mind, it should be deleted unless there is evidence that it is real. Languagehat (talk) 13:55, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
