Some Secrets about Kollimalai Masi Periyannasamy.

In "Kollimalai Sathuragiri kundru" there are totally 62 god living (Including Karuppanna samy, Madurai Veeran, Munishwarar, Ayyanar, Bhairavar, Samayapuram Mariyamman, Kamatchi amman, Thottichi amman, Pullachi amman, Vadugachi amman ect.,) proving that when pujari doing deeparathanai, he will not chant any mandras instead of he is chanting all 62 god names. Masi periyannan is the Leader of all of the "Kaval Deivam". Vadugachi amman is his wife, other's are his younger brothers and sisters. There are two vigragams (statue) available one is for Karuppar which is located out side and another one is for Masi Periyannan rest they made as "Pathivu" around Masi Periyannan.

There are not steps from the bottom of Sathuragiri kumdru. You have to go to the top by walk around two kilo meters from hill village called "Nathukulipattu". Every day 12.30am there is a hill bus arrives from Namakkal which will drop you at "Nathukulipattu" around 4.00am. River is there, you can refresh yourself there.
