The earlier article on mass deacidification that I edited included a reference to something called the Interleaf Vapor Phase Process which has a passing reference in Henk J, Porck's introduction http://www.knaw.nl/ecpa/PUBL/porck2.htm. I cannot find any information on the manufacturer or the possible effects of this process. I would love any help in finding.

The article desperately needs some links to newer research on mass deacidification. Lizzy Jasper 19:40, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Current digitizing costs?[edit]

I wonder if the cost of digitizing a book with semi automatic page turning scanners can be even close to any chemical process.

It wood be good to have a comparison with what Google budgets for book scanning.
