About this article
This article was created as a result of a split. The original article at this title was moved to Media of the Republic of Ireland, and northern-ireland specific material was removed and placed in Media of Northern Ireland.
The intent of this article is now to serve only to describe shared media between the two countries - e.g. anything media which happens on an all-island basis. Help is needed and welcome! --Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 06:53, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
I am from the republic of Ireland. I don't understand the need for this article and think it serves only to cause confusion when users are seeking information about the media in either jurisdiction of the island. I know of no major media outlets that intentionally cater for people in both jurisdictions (although major print and broadcast outlets are generally available throughout the island). - Mr_JRMB —Preceding undated comment added 12:59, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
