Should this article mention companies associated with the Miracle? For example Digital Equipment Corporation and Wang Laboratories

Found a citation and did it. CSZero (talk) 23:44, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"...along Route 128, which lent its name to the region."[edit]

Please explain more about this. What name? How is the region named? (etc) Citations for it would do no harm either. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 21:10, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see you are not from America, so I guess this isn't obvious. "128" is not just a road, it's associated so closely with high tech in these parts that it is like saying "Silicon Valley" I'll clarify a bit on the page. CSZero (talk) 23:26, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. No, indeed, I'm not from the USA, hence my interest/query. Looking forward to the enhancements. I used to work for Wang Labs and Prime Computer, so I'm half familiar with the Boston area, but not the association with 128. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 23:33, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, no luck finding an exact quote but it's easily enough verifiable through googling that I'm comfortable with the wording. Where did you work for Wang? I'm from Lowell, so I had a few family members work there and drive by the old headquarters daily. CSZero (talk) 23:44, 12 November 2008 (UTC) Hey, that gives me an idea, I should upload this photo to commons: [1][reply]
Ah so that's what the towers look like now! That building was so easy to get lost in. Bizarre. I was in the UK and used to fly over for stupid things like one day meetings quite a lot. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 23:51, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
