No heir?[edit]

There are a number of issues that need to be discussed. First, is this the same figure as Matsudaira Ietada from Katanohara, who lived from 1547 to 1582 and was known as Kii no kami? If so, birth year is wrong. Note that currently Matsudaira Ietada (Katanohara) redirects to Matsudaira Ietada (Fukōzu), even though they are different people: see this versus this or jp:松平家忠 and jp:松平家忠_(形原松平家). The Japanese wikipedia article jp:松平家忠_(形原松平家) states that Ietada of Katanohara's son was Matsudaira Ienobu (see also Nihon jinmei daijiten). This article and the Katanohara vs. Fukōzu need to be clarified. Michitaro (talk) 00:07, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As per discussion at Talk:Matsudaira Ietada (Fukōzu), I've tried to straighten out the two Ietada's, plus all the relevant re-directs I could find. I used the Japanese Wikipedia entries as a start, but will look for reliable sources to add to the article in the near future. Boneyard90 (talk) 10:21, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
