Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because "His work has received many honors including a PEN/Hemingway Award Honorable Mention and been translated into several languages, and called “beautiful…first-rate” by The New York Times Book Review" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Virscorpio (talkcontribs) 03:29, 11 July 2012‎ (UTC)[reply]
