@Urbanoc:@Eight.valve: I hope you are both doing well. I am contacting you here as since 16 July Andreas Renschler is no longer CEO of Traton SE and Matthias Gründler became is successor. On behalf of my client (Traton SE) I have drafted this possible new article about Matthias Gründler. I wanted to check with you to see whether you would be willing to let me know what you think about the draft. Some of the sources are from German media. If you need any help in translating parts of it, I will be happy to provide those translations. I am very much looking forward to your reply and feedback. Thank you in advance! @Conandcon:, at first glance, it looks OK. The tone certainly is quite good , non-promotional and sticking to facts, in-line with Wikipedia standards (refreshing to see someone that actually read Wikipedia's policies and guidelines!). The only thing I can't check is sourcing, as I'm a little busy right now, but I'll do it ASAP. If Eight.Valve can do it before me, I have no objections. Regards. --Urbanoc (talk) 14:28, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Urbanoc: Let me know if you have any questions when checking the sources - happy to help in any way I can. Also very much appreciate your feedback regarding the content being in-line with Wikipedia standards. I always try to write in the best possible way - despite my COI. Best Conandcon (talk) 14:48, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Conandcon: as you see, I already moved the article to main space. I made minor changes per Wikipedia's MoS, mostly delinking, although, in my opinion, the article was good enough already. Tell me if I inadvertently introduced factual errors into it. Regards. --Urbanoc (talk) 00:12, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Urbanoc: Thank you very much! One thought on the DEFAULTSORT: Should it be "Matthias Gründler" instead of "Matthias Grundler"; an alternative would be to write it with ue (Matthias Gruendler). The latter usually is used where keyboards do not have the letter "ü". Everything else looks good. Best Conandcon (talk) 07:54, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Conandcon: I'll implement the second option (i.e. "ue" transcription) if you want, but I'd prefer leave it as it is for respecting standard practice in using the template. In the English Wikipedia, "(...)sort order merges (ignores) case and diacritics. For example, "Baé", "Båf", "BaG" would be sorted in that order" (see WP:SORTKEY), so "ü" equals "u" when sorting alphabetically, and you can see people using Template:DEFAULTSORT actually tends to ignore non-English symbols with the template, as they may cause problems (some examples: Horst Köhler, Georg Knöpfle, Peer Steinbrück). --Urbanoc (talk) 11:41, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Urbanoc: I would like to suggest to add a picture of Matthias Gründler to the article, which was taken at the TRATON SE Annual General Meeting in September this year. What do you think? Best, Conandcon (talk) 06:19, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
