Problems with the article

[edit]

Hello. While I have at least some faith in the subject's notability, this article is written in a promotional tone and editors who have participated in creating this article may have COI. This article also needs third party sources, not just the subject's homepage. Zakhalesh (talk) 17:24, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed some of this myself but there's still a plenty of problems. For example, the sections about the books seem to be... I don't know the word for it, but if they were fictional books, it would be "in-universe". That is, they focus on describing what the books say as facts, which isn't good for style and for people that actually want to know about the books, not just a short excerpt of the book's theme. Publication dates, sales, reception would be acceptable if the individual books are notable - otherwise, a simple listing will do, and a single section in the article would cover the literary career.
