  • He designed a wall-sized polychromatic mosaic which used to be in the Odeon theatre on Queen Street, Auckland[1] in 1957 but he never saw it completed before he moved to the United States.[2]. Numbers related to mural: more than 47,300 tiles, approximately 7.4 metres wide, 4m high and weighs about 20 tonnes. An effort was made to save the mosaic before the Odeon was demolished.
