Fair use rationale for Image:Max Bygraves.JPG[edit]

Image:Max Bygraves.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 17:19, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date he moved? Radio, music?[edit]

Our news is saying he moved to Australia in 2005. He appeared in many UK radio shows, and recorded a number of comedy songs, though the only one I - or it seems anyone - can remember is "You're a Pink Toothbrush (I'm a Blue Toothbrush)".--Hugh7 (talk) 01:11, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Death date[edit]

Just changed it from 1 September to 31 August as BBC News is reporting he "died peacefully in his sleep at home in Hope Island, Queensland, on Friday". But I'm not really sure if that is correct. We need to establish whether the day referred to is being reported in terms of Queensland Time or London time. If it's the former then 31 August could be right, but if the latter is the case then 1 September would be correct. Paul MacDermott (talk) 13:55, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Australian media are reporting the death but aren't very specific about the date and time. My guess would be that it happened on Friday Queensland time, probably early 1 September GMT, but we need to wait for further clarification. I guess it doesn't matter for a day or two so long as we get it right in the end- --Ef80 (talk) 21:20, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lede[edit]

Can’t see how the lede fails to reflect the article, as claimed on your recent tag. I’ve added-in a couple of points, to extend the lede in pro. Valetude (talk) 19:52, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
