The picture

Are we really serious about the picture of Levchin? That's the best we can do? Really professional GFDL contribution there. - Havecloud 04:44, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Better? Gary King (talk) 14:49, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I think the current one is fine and better than many that I've seen on Wikipedia.--Gloriamarie (talk) 00:25, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Details removed

I'm removing the following content due to lack of sourcing and relevance to Levchin's bio. Additionally there are problems with tone and content - we don't really deal in rumors, what an unspecified "many" believe, or online blog disputes. Per WP:PRESERVE I'm adding it here because I suspect there's some real substance behind it if we can only find reliable sources for it and perhaps put it in a more appropriate place, e.g. an article about the book or about the companies in question.

There is a lot of controversy around the merger of X.com and Confinity. Many believe that it was not a good deal for PayPal, and that it was forced upon them by their venture capitalists (VCs). Eric Jackson, an early employee of PayPal, offers a detailed account of the merger in his book PayPal Wars.
X.com CEO Elon Musk published an online rebuttal of these rumours at Valleywag.

Computer scientist

Any references supporting his activity as 'computer scientist'? Otherwise I suggest to remove the term 'computer scientist' from the article. Yurivict (talk) 10:40, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
