Jeff VanBemmel

[edit]

A moment's searching came up with the fact that Jeff VanBemmel is the director of the US Army Signal Network Enterprise Center in Aberdeen, which I consider to be notable enough for this page. See http://www.afcea-aberdeen.org/files/bios/20110302%20Jeff%20VanBemmel%20Bio.pdf

More troubling is that multiple editors, one of which has been blocked five times previously for reverting rather than discussing, all think that WP:TALKDONTREVERT does not apply to them. --Guy Macon (talk) 17:56, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The burden of proof is on the user adding the name to show that the person being added is notable, and that the date is verifiable. This is especially true given the number of users who try to add themselves, their significant others, etc. to these types of pages. If Jeff VanBemmel is a redlink (which it is at the time I write this), it is certainly reasonable to remove him from the list without the need for discussion here. —C.Fred (talk) 18:00, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. I have stricken my comment above. --Guy Macon (talk) 18:14, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
