It would be good to have an external link to a wav or mp3 - Kittybrewster 07:39, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

==Need MP3==
type about how you want an MP3 of this song on here, and I be like

revisions/additions needed[edit]

Can the cover songs be put into some kind of logical order (alphabetical or chronological)? What about the studios and recording session dates for the studio versions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.56.242.2 (talk) 22:36, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox - Studio or live version?[edit]

The infobox is a little confused at the minute - most of the details (release date, where recorded etc) refer to the original song (which was only an album track) but it does describe it as a 'Single by Paul McCartney' which it never was and has the cover and b-side of the live version (and is in the chronology in the correct place for the live single). The article as a whole is about the song rather than the live single but shouldn't the infobox only have the details of the single?Retro junkie (talk) 00:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Held back from Abbey Road[edit]

There's popular mythology that Paul originally planned to include the track on Abbey Road, but decided to hold it back for release on his first solo album, instead quickly penning "Maxwell's Silver Hammer". Has anyone got a citation on this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.210.110.58 (talk) 20:31, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's certainly not true that "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" was a quick replacement for "Maybe I'm Amazed", as it was written first, in October 1968, and was a song that McCartney was determined to put out on a Beatles record (ideally as a single). Tony Keen2 (talk) 20:36, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
