... that after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a Montana abortion law in Mazurek v. Armstrong, state courts struck down the law as a violation of the Montana Constitution? Source: "In 1997 the U.S. Supreme Court summarily upheld the law...The District Court granted, and later the Montana Supreme Court affirmed, an injunction barring enforcement of the statute." [1]. Comment: The article was moved from draftspace to mainspace on 11 December. This is my first DYK nomination, so bear with me if I've committed some grievous faux pas or if the wording leaves something to be desired.
The article was moved to mainspace on the 11th, so it meets the new enough requirement. It is far, far above the 1500 characters requirement, so i'm not even going to check just how long it is. The hook is both long enough and interesting enough and is properly cited inline. The article looks to be within policy and a run through on Earwig's Copyvio Detector hasn't revealed any problems outside of actual direct quotes that are noted as such.
