Split

[edit]

There is absolutely no reason why this article must be split into a separate article for the history alone. This page is 40kb long, mostly tables, which does not violate WP:SIZE. Split, there is a main article of 38kb and a subarticle of 2kb that is nothing but a table. Why must they be split? The split was not done with consensus, and I had the right to revert it when absolutely no rationale was given for the unnecessary split. Reywas92Talk 20:59, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Actually, I'm all for deleting that table all together if it's only filled in for 2 of the last 9 years. Ryan2845 (talk) 23:58, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Partially agree, you need to get consensus before deleting an article. I've noticed you abusing wikipedia policies a lot!--69.140.49.76 (talk) 04:51, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
WHAT!? No, I am not, 69.140!!! First, I am not deleting ANY article, simply WP:REDIRECTING it! NO information is being deleted!! I am simply combining information on two pages onto a single page! YOU need to get consensus before SPLITING the article! Reywas92Talk 19:29, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have begun the process of adding separate articles about each game. This will in fact split this main article into smaller main- and sub-articles. Most game-specific information found on this (the main article) page (excluding tables summarizing results from all years) will be moved to separate game articles as those articles are developed well enough to be posted. The overall desired end result is to imitate what Wikipedia shows for the NBA All-Star Game Jlhcpa (talk) 05:49, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
