Could this be older than 1989?[edit]

In the 70s Flanders and Swann made a parody of a Mozart composition. Parts of it (not all) followed the description exactly:

I once had a whim and

I had to obey it

To buy a French horn in

A secondhand shop,

I polished it up and

I started to play it

In spite of the neighbors

Who begged me to stop.
