[edit]Not sure what has happened here. The text has disappeared from the edit window. Biscuittin (talk) 18:27, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- What is this article for? It seems to duplicate Meanings of minor planet names: 3001–3500 and Meanings of minor planet names: 3501–4000. Biscuittin (talk) 18:54, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

[edit]I have modified the page in the reference about "Igor Moiseyev", as the translitterated name in the entry in wikipedia, but have left the name of the asteroid name, "Moisseiev". I know it may be a little bit confusing, so if you prefer, change it!
How to edit?
[edit]According to "Special:What links here?" this page links to Inland Sea, which was recently rewritten as a disambiguation page. Minor planet 3392 Setouchi used to link there, but when that page's content was moved to Seto Inland Sea I edited the section (template? subpage?) "3301–3400" to correct the link. So why does "What links here?" still say that this page links to Inland Sea? Cnilep (talk) 22:57, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
- Cnilep, if you're still there and haven't learned it yet, "What links here?" lists pages that have links to this page, not pages that this page links to. --Thnidu (talk) 21:26, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
Too foo
[edit]Excuse mi bad english, but I have impression that you make this list not importe what. Exemple: you deed what the asteroid 3202 Graff is name law the german astronomer Kasimir Romuald Graff, and in the fish of IAU Minor Planet Center ([ [1] it is marcked "Named in honor of Gareth (Graff) Vaughan Williams, of Leighton Buzzard, England".
Who have raison, who have tor ? --Jean-François Clet (talk) 21:17, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Rough Translation
[edit]As near as I can figure out from this godawful machine mistranslation, the gist is:
- You say that asteroid 3202 Graff is named for the German astronomer Kasimir Romuald Graff. But according to IAU Minor Planet Center, it is "Named in honor of Gareth (Graff) Vaughan Williams, of Leighton Buzzard, England".
- Who's right, who's wrong?
Please {{Ping}} me to discuss. --Thnidu (talk) 17:33, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
- Jean-François Clet has pointed out a genuine error. The IAU is clearly correct; I have updated the list accordingly - and added a reference, which is how these sorts of errors are supposed to be avoided. Modest Genius talk 12:50, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
