Hi, I'll review this, comments should be here soon Kingsif (talk) 01:34, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Style[edit]

  • Lead good length for article
  • Some odd/unnatural phrasings from the start, e.g. in the first note using "if to count" and "counting in", where both should be 'if counting'
  • "a cappella constructed with human vocals" is redundant
  • Wikilinking rock music is not needed
  • Could wikilink the specific wiktionary "medulla" page
  • If using quotes in the lead, need refs
  • The order and contents of the list being Wallonia, Europe, France is bizarre. Wallonia is part of a country that is part of Europe, France is a country in Europe, and Europe is... Europe. Perhaps include the specific charts.
  • In the sentence "She then elaborated that it was "very introverted" and avoided eye contact", did Bjork avoid eye contact or did she claim that the album avoids eye contact?
  • " since her teenager age" should be "since she was a teenager"
  • Background and production section largely reads like storytelling, so this section needs rewriting
  • Ditto for the Artwork and title section
  • Having a read through the rest of the article, the issues with storytelling and non-English phrasing persist, so it is clear the whole thing likely needs reworking
  • Fail

Coverage[edit]

  • Each section seems a suitable length compared to other album good articles
  • mentioning that the singles, both of which have their own pages, were "both charting inside the top forty in the United Kingdom and the top ten in Spain" doesn't need to be included, especially being single countries/charts and not that high
  • Fair

Neutrality[edit]

  • Seems good
  • Pass

Verifiability[edit]

  • Sources seem good
  • Everything cited in-line (but see Copyright below)
  • Pass

Illustration[edit]

  • Quotebox in Background and production too long for purpose
  • Uses album artwork in infobox
  • Good use of free dress image, song clip, and the music-related tables
  • Quotebox in Style & influences good size
  • One issue

Stability[edit]

  • History looks fine
  • Pass

Copyright[edit]

  • Looks like some copyvio (not the blockquote, but text around it) from style.com (large parts of "had a solo show at ATM Gallery, where she showed a wall mural made of brown braids. Björk appreciated it, and then invited her to work on creating a hair sculpture to support her idea for the Medúllas character. She also explained that because the album was entirely recorded with voices, Björk did not want to wear clothes but more things that were made of something from the body" and "a room to each album of Björk's career, with the Medulla section having a mannequin in the likeness of Björk wearing the Alexander McQueen–designed bell dress she wore in the video for her song "Who Is It"")
  • Also from IGN
  • And Calver's book
  • And most of the sources, actually.
  • Fail like, hard fail. I checked seven sources all the way through, only two didn't appear to be plagiarized.

Overall[edit]

  • Poor style throughout and a jigsaw of stolen text. Kingsif (talk) 23:59, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
