Merge proposal[edit]

Propose to merge this page into the more robust and contextualized Media coverage of the Arab–Israeli conflict index page. The conflict-specific pages can be added to the target page as See Alsos. Longhornsg (talk) 12:08, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There might be an argument for merging all three articles into a single article or all three into Media coverage of the Arab–Israeli conflict but until then, the disambiguation is still needed.Selfstudier (talk) 17:39, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. There was no content here except for links, so merged those links into the Media coverage of the Arab–Israeli conflict article. Subsequently renamed that article Media coverage of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict as there was no coverage at all of any other Arab countries, everything was only Israel/Palestine/WestBank/Gaza. If there is any coverage at all specifically of Gaza or of conflicts with other Arab countries (something that was quite an issue from c. 1947–1980), those articles can always be created. @Keizers: I don't see how it's helpful though to people who are specifically looking for one of the three articles that were listed? Also, There was no content here except for links - that's the point of a disambiguation page. AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 22:30, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, gotcha, ok that wasn't clear to me, but in any case in case anyone is looking for a specific article on media bias re Gaza, they can certainly find the link on the Media coverage of the Arab–Israeli conflict page. Even with the current war and all, the media bias is very interconnected - i.e. how media are covering Gaza is related to how there are covering the violence against Palestinians in East Jerusalem and (the rest of) the West Bank, for example.Keizers (talk) 22:45, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see that but the links are much harder to find now. I partially agree but I feel like maybe the DAB should be revived and linked in a hatnote? I don't know, but I'd like to see input from other editors. AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 23:07, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
