There was a San Francisco Times published during the 1850s. http://news.google.com/archivesearch?q=%22san+francisco+times%22&btnG=Search+Archives&as_ldate=1849&as_hdate=1859 jonathan riley (talk) 11:47, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I like the intention of this page, but at present it should be titled "A brief history of media in San Francisco." There isn't much about present day media. Ghaj56 (talk) 18:06, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, we could change the name to "print media of early San francisco or expand it.67.101.102.254 (talk) 22:54, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This page needs some serious expansion to discuss more of what the Bay Area media is all about, and I might model it after "Media in New York City" so that it can have more credibility. wishfulanthony (talk) 18:25, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scope[edit]

Since the article contains information about institutions both within SF and outside, in the SFBA, i change the title. if you want to write about the City's media, it should be ONLY city media, or media based in the city.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 07:00, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
