C class is fair, I suppose. The article clearly needs someone better informed than the author to go back through it and clean it up. In particular, the bit about the barons bringing trade to a standstill needs citation, limitation, and abundant caveating to show that it's the precise opposite of the general state of affairs during the era under discussion. It was the precise opposite: in that precise era, Edward I was able to bring Flemish commerce to a standstill by playing hardball over a span of years and got them to essentially surrender the market despite the Flemish countess having an entirely legitimate gripe over his unpaid fees. Also nonsense that the important terms of that peace (Montreuil) aren't so much as linked, let alone discussed. — LlywelynII 12:29, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
