Crit 2[edit]

There are several inconsistencies in coverage and accuracy. Namely:

According to the Infobox the division was active till 2 November 1918, while in paragraph 3 the ships are transferred to the Turkish navy (actually the Ottoman Navy) first in August 1914 and then again in November 1918. Also they are supposedly renamed but later referred to by their German names.

The pursuit is preceeding the First World War, when actually it is taking place before the background of the war breaking out. Even though Turkey (the Ottoman Empire actually) only entered the war after the ships arrived there.

In the first paragraph the German General Staff is mentioned, dispatching the two ships. Wouldn't that be the Admiralty's job?

Apart from accuracy, the coverage is pretty narrow. I would suggest to take the "Ottoman Engagement" section from "Pursuit of Goeben and Breslau" and put it with this article. That would widen the scope and give a report of what the division was actually doing. --Dodo19 (talk) 04:53, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

3 ships?[edit]

In the info box, it mentions that the Mediterranean Division had 3 ships, yet the opening statement and all paragraphs only refer to the Goeben and Breslau. The commissioned station ship SMS Loreley was attached to the command of the head of the Mediterranean Division as well, that is the third ship in the info-box.74.105.130.90 (talk) 01:33, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
