I'm going to change this article into a redirect. It is duplicating the higher level dab and the artificial membrane articles. And is not developed and has a mistaken heirarchy (e.g. zeolite is below artificial membrane). TCO (Reviews needed) 14:39, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This might be good idea, except I hope, that You will take care that the concept of selective barrier (membrane as selective barrier and how it works), which is immensely, (repeat: immensely) imprortant in biology, will just not disappear altogether. (there are links linking to it, from biological articles too.
This DAB was originally the higher dab level of membrane DAB itself, then it was absurdly moved to the new name (membrane (selective barrier)), new DAB was made and this one was somewhat rewritten (and current wording somehow crippled the relevance).
The best way to rethink the proper way around would be with study of the histories of those pages. It should be done by some different way than it it is today, however I would hardly find myself time to rethink/redo the structure and inbound links.
Good luck. Reo + 15:00, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, we are absolutely not talking about the artificial membranes only! --Reo + 15:02, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am straightening the whole thing out. Membrane dab page will be the highest level. Then one path to bio, one path to artificial. All concepts covered that way. TCO (Reviews needed) 15:04, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
