Technical information
[edit]I have several ways to improve this article, but I am also on the team that helps develop and support Memento. Because of my personal involvement, I wanted to start a discussion here to ensure that I'm not suffering from a conflict of interest by contributing to this Memento Project article.
I would like to contribute technical information about how Memento works, including, but not limited to, HTTP header examples, diagrams, and definitions of key concepts.
Sources:
- RFC 7089, published in 2013 standardizing Memento - http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7089
- Follow up 2010 Published Research paper on Memento - http://events.linkeddata.org/ldow2010/papers/ldow2010_paper13.pdf
- Initial 2009 Technical report created to describe Memento - http://arxiv.org/abs/0911.1112
How can I contribute salient information without falling victim to my conflict of interest?

"time travel" web portal?
[edit]"This month, the Memento group is launching a Web portal called Time Travel" says http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2015/01/26/cobweb which would be a solid reference, but I can't find any other mention, including on the memento project website and mailing list. Any other sources for this? Mike Linksvayer (talk) 21:35, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
