WV 140

[edit]

The TED 220 document referenced in the article for the WV 140 number lists many routes that have never existed including WV 203, WV 204, WV 301, WV 303, WV 372, WV 401, WV 471, WV 473, WV 701, WV 703, and WV 922. Many of these numbers reflect existing county route number or are numbered based on existing WV routes in the area (WV 20, WV 37, WV 47, WV 7). A number of roads (WV 109, WV 290) ended up numbered as other routes (WV 43 and US 52). I think this was basically a dream list of possible future WV routes, not something that reflects real numbering. WVDOH's maps show the bridge and approach roadways as being city streets. I think WV 140 was for if the state ever took over the bridge, but that hasn't happened. With that in mind, I think WV 140 should be scrubbed from the article since the bridge never seems to have actually been that. Bitmapped (talk) 04:15, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm fine with that. I just removed it from the WV Nav boxes.Famartin (talk) 18:29, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
