Untitled[edit]

Another editor coded out the praenomen information until s/he had access to Clayton's book. I corrected it because what's going on is that there are two numbering schemes for the Mentuhoteps: the one used here where Mentuhotep I (merely a nomarch of Thebes) is counted, and the one Clayton evidently uses, where our Mentuhotep II becomes "Mentuhotep I" because he was the first of that name to rule Egypt. The editor who had added the incorrect praenomen must have been confused by that discrepancy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.9.202.192 (talk) 04:10, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are not only two numbering schemes. There are some more, because Mentuhotep Nebhepetre changed his names several times during his reign and we don't know now, what is an individual king and what is just another name of Nebhepetre (Nebkhrure, Sematawi etc.).90.186.0.22 (talk) 22:53, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wadi el Hudi[edit]

Wadi el Hudi has no connection to the Sinai, it's in Upper Egypt.42.115.92.52 (talk) 18:20, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
