"Her Music"[edit]

This article hardly mentions anything about her music. It just mentions achievements, but doesn't mention what songs were hits and why. For example, it makes no sense to have an article on Mercedes Sosa without talking about a song like "Solo le pido a dios" or "Todo Cambia". "Her Album"[edit]

The article says "Sosa received two Latin Grammy nominations for her album which is nominated for a total of three awards" but it doesn't mention which album. I mean, she actually recorded quite a few... ;) Can someone be more specific? And does it belong on something about her death?

Still, totally biased pictures. Mercedes used to meet with several politicians and famous people. Mercedes Sosa might not have been popular in the sense "Los Tigres del Norte" or "Daddy Yanki" are, but she was undoubtedly one of the greatest Latin American singers of all time (at the same level of Carlos Gardel, Javier Solis, and Celia Cruz, of whom I hope you have heard.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.87.1.172 (talk) 19:53, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it debatable that this was the sole cause of the downfall of the Military dictatorship in Argentina as stated.
