This page is for Meridian Mail but most of it talks about the Norstar system. Most of this info should be on the Meridian Norstar page.

Ditto

[edit]

I second the last post... I was confused of what the article was mentioning, and it seems pointless. Steven312 11:23, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Color

[edit]

I didn't know that the terminals were to be color - all the ones I saw were monochrome (blue-grey) Dlchambers (talk) 00:55, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

System Name

[edit]

I didn't see any mention of the system that this was originally called - The PTE or Packet Transport Equipment (a name only an engineer could love). I recall that this was a system with 6-7 different components, one of which was voice mail. All of the other components were dropped but Meridian Mail was the only one determined to be commercially viable.

NPOV and citations

[edit]

Currently this article lacks citations. To me, it also seems to be written in a somewhat unencyclopaedic style ("In typical managerial fashion…" for example), although I'm hoping that someone going through and finding citations (and removing uncitable statements) will fix that. Sadly I don't have the time to do so at present. me_and (talk) 09:50, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
